Once you have completed your lessons and want to review what you have learned for your oral exam and computer exam, you may want to complete your review. While these reviews are optional, many students find them helpful. I always love to see student work, so you can upload your completed review along with any questions you have under your Oral Exam assessment. As always…let me know if you have any questions!

I am excited to announce our new resource website for our science 2 class! Here you will find lots of help for each lesson in each module – when you need it! This is a work in progress so please let me know if there are problems with the site or you have suggestions.
So discussion based assessments (DBAs), also known as Oral Exams, are a unique part of being a Florida Virtual Student. If I could give you any advice it would be : Don’t be nervous! I am here to make sure you understand our lessons and to help you if there is a problem. If you feel nervous there are a few things you can do to prepare. First, make your appointment. To do this, check out your pace chart and see what week you should take your oral exam. Next, sign into the course and make an appointment on our phone appointment scheduler. Once you know when you I will call, then you need to prepare and review what you have learned. There are lots of ways to do this and each student is different but here are a few suggestions.
- Complete all of your lessons and assignments in the module
- Check the feedback in your gradebook – this will give you hints on anything you did wrong and how to correct it
- Complete the review questions for each module.
- Have a family member quiz you about some of the material in the lessons
